    Mumbai win 4 in row

It's W,W,W,W for Mumbai Indians in the WPL 2023 as they were yet again dominant in this match against the UP Warriorz. Nat Sciver finishes wih a six after Kaur's fifty as MI chase this one with 8 wickets in hand. They have been some team in the tournament. Warriorz probably did not had those many runs on the board and cannot outclass the MI team in the chase. Yastika provided a good start before some setback in the middle overs. But Kaur and Nat Sciver were superb to cross the line inside the 18th over. So, MI are still leading the league stage and bossing the tournament. It was a pleasure brining this to you. I Varun Malik sign off, see you again.

    Warriorz finish at 159

So, UP have finished at 159/6 as the MI side staged a comeback. This was some contest between the bat and the ball. Healy and McGrath starred for UP as they hit the fifties, before Ishaque yet again displayed her brilliance. She got them out in the same over and UP lost their way in the end. Ishaque finished with three wickets and now has 12 wickets in the tournament. Can MI chase this or will UP spinners produce something good? Back with the chase in a short while.

    Ishaque displays brilliance

Saika Ishaque has given us another reason to applaud her. She has sent back the half centurions and the big fishes Healy and McGrath in the same over. There is something special about her.

    MI lose both reviews

MI have lost their second review as well as Issy Wong wanted this LBW appeal to be sent upstairs. She pitched this one on a good length around the middle and off. Healy wanted to play a scoop and missed as the ball hit her pad. Wong wanted this to be reviewed but ball tracking shows it pitched outside leg.

A mixed sort of phase for both the teams. While UP scored 85 runs, MI got two crucial wickets in the first 10. Still Healy is out in the middle well set and would hope to go big. Meanwhile, Ishaque can be crucial for MI.

    Harmanpreet at the toss

We are looking for a good match, they did well in the previous match. Dhara comes in as Pooja is not playing. We want to go with the winning combination, we don't want to experiment much, Pooja was unfortunate to miss. I think 160 will be a decent total. Hopefully we manage to restrict them below that total.

  • 7:07 PM (IST) Posted by Varun Malik

    Healy at the toss

We will bat first. The teams have put up big totals and if we can do that, we will be able to restrict the MI. Harris misses out, Ismail comes in. We executed well with bat and ball, we have confidence. I think we are enjoying our cricket and our company.
