Meet the highest individual scorers in Asia Cup history

New Delhi: Asia Cup 2014 is approaching and will be hosted by Bangladesh. The first match will be held on 25th February at Fatullah between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Asia Cup is one of few multi country cricket tournaments that has been played enough number of times to have its own set of records. There have been 10 Asia cup tournaments over the years and Asian Cricket Council seems determined to continue to uphold this tradition in future also. It must be noted that we have had two Asia Cup test series as well, won by Pakistan and Sri Lanka back in year 1999 and 2001 respectively. Here is the list of highest individual scorer in Asia Cup's history:1.Virat Kohli: The vice captain of India and dashing batsman Virat Kohli tops the list with his 183* against arch rivals Pakistan in a must win match played at Mirpur on 18th March 2012. 2.Younus Khan: Pakistan's batsman Younus Khan scored 144 runs against Hong Kong at Colombo on 18th July 2004. 3.Shoaib Malik: Another Pakistan's batsman, Shoaib scored 143 against India at Colombo on 25th July 2004. 4.Sourav Ganguly: Former Indian skipper, Ganguly scored 135* against Bangladesh at Dhaka on 30th May 2000. 5.Arjuna Ranatunga: Former Sri Lankan batsman Ranatunga scored 131* against India at Colombo on 18th July 1997.
