It is another story from the other side of the border. This time it is the dashing Pakistani batsman Mohsin Khan and diva from Bollywood Reena Roy. Though the couple did not had a successful married life. But they had a story which can be said to be not less than any bollywood movie. Mohsin Khan who was at the peak of this career made his mark as an opening batsman when he scored successive centuries in Australia on the pitches of Adelaide and Melbourne in 1983-84 Pakistan's tour down under.
But Mohsin's aspirations took a turn when he fell in love with Indian Bollywood actress Reena Roy and married her in 1983 when Reena was at the peak of her career. The couple later separated with Roy losing the custody of her daughter Sanam only to regain it back when Mohsin Khan remarried.
The next story is also from across the border but the difference is that , this time it is the Southern neighbour of India i.e. Sri Lanka. The sport star is a legend of the game of cricket and the spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan . He married Madhimalar Ramamurthy, who hails from Chennai and is the daughter of late Dr S. Ramamurthy and Dr Nithya Ramamurthy of Malar Hospitals. They got married on March 21, 2005 and have a son named Naren who was born in January 2006.
