Johannesburg: The first test match of the 2 test series of India tour of South Africa ends in a draw. South Africa fell just 8 runs short of winning the test match which could have been the record chase in test matches in the history of cricket.Late strike by the Indian bowlers in the last session of the match saved team India from losing the match. Ishant Sharma broke the 205 runs 5th wicket partnership between du Plessis and de Villiers when his delivery edged de Villiers bat and hit stumps. AB de Villiers departed on 103 runs.Then Shami clean bowled JP Duminy on 5 runs. Faf du Plessis (134) proved his mettle and he calmly batted throughout the Day 5 since the tea time of 4th day.
