IND win seventh Asia Cup title by 8 wickets
Indian women's team has done it. They have become the Asia Cup champions for the seventh time. The women in blue continue their dominance in the tournament and have belted the title only after losing it once in 2018. In the match, India was clinical with the ball as they dismantled the Lankan batting. The Lankan batters managed to play full 20 overs and scored 65 but it was way too less. Coming out to bat, India won the match after losing just 2 wickets as Smriti Mandhana's fifty powered India to a win. This is India's seventh Asia Cup title in eight editions. Speaks a load about their dominance. It was pleasure bringing this game to you, hope you have enjoyed this as well. This is Varun Malik bidding goodbye, see in further tournaments. Take care!

IND need 66 runs to win seventh title
The Indian women's team need 66 to win their seventh Asia Cup title. A proper dominance in the bowling. Renuka Thakur, Sneh Rana and Rajeshwari Gayakwad have scalped wickets. The pitch looks to help spinners a bit but SL batters surrendered it more. SL managed to play the complete 20 overs but kept losing wickets very often. IND need just 66 runs to win their seventh title and regain the trophy for the first time after 206. For SL, they need some magic. Back in a few moments.

SL seven down
Sneh Rana strikes in her first over and SL are seven down with only 25 on the board. The pitch looks to suit the spinners but not to the extent that the scorecard shows us.

Powerplay ends, SL 16/5
The powerplay comes to an end with Sri Lanka in big trouble. They have fallen like a pack of cards here and India are roaring currently. Three wickets for Renuka Singh, some suicidal runouts and Sri Lanka find themselves in an ugly situation currently. Big partnerships are needed unless this innings shall be wrapped up quickly.

The Indian women team have scalped the first wicket of the match. It's SL's skipper Chamari Athapaththu, who has been run out early. A huge confusion in the middle as Athapaththu cut this but staright to the short third and she is well out of her crease.
