List of all players sold on IPL mega auction 2025 Day 2: RCB sign Bhuvneshwar, MI bag Mitchell Santner

After record-breaking deals on Day 1 of the IPL 2025 mega auction, the teams entered the second day with a limited budget to build up their squad for the next season. Star fast bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Deepak Chahar were the top buys with the former joining RCB for a whopping price of Rs 10.75 crore.

Kolkata Knight Riders snapped the West Indies' T20I captain Rovamn Powell for a base price of Rs 1.5 crore. Delhi Capitals then signed the former RCB captain Faf du Plessis for Rs 2 crore after no other teams showed interest in the experienced South African batter.

Marco Jansen, the young pace all-rounder from South Africa, was the most expensive signing in the opening stages. Punjab Kings spent 7 crore, beating Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans, to sign the former SRH all-rounder.

Washington Sundar emerged as the first Indian cricketer to be sold on Day 2. Gujarat Titans beat Lucknow Super Giants to sign the spin all-rounder for Rs 3.2 crore, which is considered a steal buy. 

The experienced Indian spinner Krunal Pandya triggered a bidding war for his signature with Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Rajasthan Royals stretching the bid past 5 crore. RCB, with the biggest purse on Day 2, outplayed the Royals to sign Krunal for Rs 5.75 crore.
