New Delhi: Netherlands made the dubious record of scoring the lowest runs in a T20 international match in World T20 earlier this year. Although T20 is known for batsmen scoring quick runs but their had been times when the teams get bundled out cheaply .Most of the scores were made by the associate nations who were playing in major ICC tournament for the first time .
Lets take a look on the top ten lowest scores made in a T20 game and who were on the receiving end.
39 in 10.3 overs (Netherlands) : Netherlands vs Sri Lanka at Chittagong. It was Nuwan Kulasekara who started the proceedings of dismissing the batsmen of Netherlands. After the previous display by the Netherlands batsman against Ireland , it was expected that they will present a stong reply to the lankans but they were just blown away by the Lankan bowlers.
The Netherlands then lost the their last six wickets for just 14 runs. Sri Lanka achieved the target in five overs by just losing wicket. It was also the a record that a game was won with maximum number of bowls remaining.
