Know about Team India's rising star Umesh Yadav

New Delhi: Born on October 25, 1987 Umesh Kumar Tilak Yadav ,formally known as Umesh Yadav is the son of a coal-mine worker. He wanted to be an IPS officer but was not able to make a successful attempt towards this aim.Thus to be a cricketer was not his childhood dream. It was at the age of nineteen when he started considering a career in cricket and today he is India's ace right-arm fast bowler.Less than two seasons after he first played with a leather ball, he was bowling against the likes of Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman in the Duleep Trophy. He joined Vidarbha in the Plate League of the Ranji Trophy. On 3 November 2008 Yadav made his first-class debut for Vidarbha against Madhya Pradesh in the 2008–09 Ranji Trophy and took 20 wickets at 14.60 in four games.With this mind blowing record in domestic cricket, Umesh caught the eye of Delhi daredevils owners in 2010 IPL season and he was bought for $30,000.He finally broke into the big league, when he was flown to the West Indies as a replacement for the injured Praveen Kumar during the World Twenty20 tournament in May 2010, and earned his first call-up to the India Test team for the tour of South Africa in November the same year.His bowling skills has always been appraised by other cricket legends and cricket stars. In latest news Ashish Nehra said that he loves helping out youngsters like Umesh. Australian cricketer David warner also stated that he is impressed by Umesh bowling skills.Gautam Gambhir has also termed him as India's possible answer to the fast bowlers who have tormented their batsmen for long.He made his Test Debut on 6 November 2011 against West Indies, ODI debut on 28 May 2010 against Zimbabwe, T 20 international on 7 August 2012 against Sri Lanka.Last ODI he played was on 11 june 2013 against Srilanka.He bowls from wide of the crease, and his usual delivery is the one that angles into a right-hand batsman. He is capable of touching the 140kmph mark all these qualities make him a rising Indian cricket star.Till the beginning of this year he was in the list of most eligible bachelors of India but it was On 16 April 2013, when he got engaged to Delhi-based fashion designer Tanya Wadhwa at his Ramdaspeth flat in the afternoon a day before his team plays Bangalore at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.Later on 29th May Tanya made him her's forever, both of them tied the love knot on the day.
