Hamilton: In the 5th ODI being played between West Indies and New Zealand, a New Zealand cricket fan caught Kieran Powell's sixer outside the boundary rope to bag US $83,000 prize money announced by brewer Tui.

As part of a sponsorship promotion, New Zealand brewer Tui, had promised to give NZ $100,000 to any fan outside the boundary rope who will catch a six with single hand while wearing one of its unique orange T-shirts.

The series saw many attempts but the prize money remained unclaimed by any spectator until Michael Morton, a New Zealand fan caught Kieran Powell's six and won the prize money in the fifth and final one day match.

On his extraordinary feat Morton said, “It's pretty unbelievable, I was sitting there next to my dad and he yelled out, so I jumped up, put my hand out and somehow it stuck. I'm pretty happy."
