Agartala: Kerala grabbed three points owing to their first innings lead over Tripura in a match that ended in a tame draw on the fourth and final day of their Group C Ranji Trophy tie, here today.
Kerala had yesterday taken a 122-run first essay lead by declaring their innings at 301 for nine in reply to Tripura's 179 all out.
Resuming on 84 for two in their second innings, Tripura were trailing Kerala by 38 runs, but by the end of the day, the home side reached 295 for nine to deter the visitors from posting a win.
Opener Bishal Ghosh, who started the day on 47, scored 266-ball 82 with the help of 10 fours to be the top-scorer for Tripura.
Another significant contribution came from N N Sen Chowdhary, who hit an unbeaten 72 off 153 deliveries, studded with 10 boundaries.
For Kerala, Amit Verma (5/61) was the pick of the bowlers.
