In today's hearing of the IPL-spot fixing case, the apex court of India has objected to N.Srinivasan attending Tamil Nadu cricket association meetings despite stepping aside as cricket administrator.

Responding to the objections by the SC,  Srinivasan has admitted mistake, says he should not have attended the meetings.

Cracking the whip in the Indian Premier League corruption case, Supreme Court on Tuesday insisted that action must be taken against Board of Control for Cricket in India president in exile N Srinivasan's son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan.

Supreme Court gave Srinivasan four options if he along with BCCI did not want the court to issue adverse orders.

Here are the following options:

1) Srinivasan should withdraw from BCCI

2) New committee should be formed to take action against those named by the Mudgal panel

3) BCCI governing council should take action

4) Mudgal panel should take action

Earlier, the SC said, it as difficult to accept there was no conflict of interest for Srinivasan.

"If he (Meiyappan) is a team official who is betting, would it not affect the team? Would not, in this situation, your team get disqualified," the court asked, following which Sibal said: "No, no. only if owner is involved (the team would get disqualified)," SC said.

In the previous hearings, the court had questioned the BCCI as to why IPL franchise CSK shouldn't be disqualified from the IPL and asked them to act immediately on the Justice (Retd.) Mukul Mudgal report.

The Supreme Court has also given time to the BCCI till 2 pm to come up with solutions and the proposed action against Chennai Super Kings and Meiyappan.
