Mumbai: The Bombay High Court has directed notorious bookie Sunil Dubai, presently in Dubai, to be present before the Crime Branch office on November 22 at 5 pm.
Earlier, the Crime Branch in its chargesheet had declared the Dubai-based bookie as absconder in the IPL spotfixing case.
A lookout notice was issued for Sunil, but it was stayed by the High Court, which instead, ordered him to be present in the Crime branch office on Nov 22 at 5 pm.
The High Court also directed Sunil Dubai to be present in the Property Cell between 10 am to 12 noon on Nov 23 and Nov 28.
Sunil Dubai has been accused of giving tips to Indian bookies on match fixing and also passed on info about spotfixing rates to Pakistani bookies.
Police said, he used to visit India regularly, but was conducting his main betting operations from Dubai.
