The old gun from Rajasthan Royals, Pravin Tambe is 42 years old; the age when maximum players decide to quit cricket but he is playing the shortest and most energetic form of cricket. He is the players who got selected in RR squad last year even after not playing a single first class match.

He has been performing impressive in this season including a match winning hat-trick against Kolkata Knight Riders, the first of the IPL 7. He went wicketless in just two RR matches and bagged 15 wickets in 11 matches with an economy rate of just under 7. Though his age may be the factor that he cannot make it to Team India but he has been an inspiration for the young players.
