Leicestershire: Team India coach Duncan Fletcher feels though this team is low on experience but unpredictability will be one of the strengths of this Indian side on this tour.

The 18-member Indian contingent has only MS Dhoni, Gautam Gambhir and Ishant Sharma who have played a Test in England before and rest will be playing their first game on English soil.

While talking to media before the first tour match, a three day game against Leicestershire starting Thursday,  Fletcher said inexperience might inspire India to play "exciting" cricket in the five-Test series.

The first test begins at Trent Bridge on July 9.

"But it is nice sometimes, because being unpredictable they will play some exciting cricket. There are some very exciting cricketers in the squad who would go on to become  very good cricketers for India.," said Fletcher.

In the 2011 tour, England, led by Andrew Strauss, not only white washed India  4-0 but also snatched the No.1 Test ranking from India.

The hurt was so deep that Dhoni had said  before leaving the country that he would "never" forget the tour, in the wake of losing at least ten Indian players to various injuries.

While India waited for revenge, England, this time led by Alastair Cook, toured India during the winter of 2012-13 and completed a historic 2-1 victory. Despite being competitive in South Africa and New Zealand, India have not won an away Test for three years.

England have also been on the downward slide in the last six months. A 0-5 Ashes whitewash has been followed by a home defeat to Sri Lanka in a hard fought two-Test series, which came on the back of a loss in the ODIs.

Fletcher said that India were more keen on winning than on reflecting on what had happened in the past. "Reversing trends is not that important. What is important is that you go out trying to win the series. That's what our objective is - to come here and win the series," he said.
