Indian bowlers who ruled at Lord's, the Mecca of cricket

New Delhi: It was Team India first overseas win at England in the second test at Lord's on Monday after a long time , their first overseas win since 2011 in West Inides. Dhoni's boys 


 



After India scored 295 runs in the first innings, it was Kumar's heroics that did not allow England to take a big lead over Indian score and the whole English team were bundled out for  319 runs.Bhuveneshwar Kumar's return of six for 82 against England on the third day of the second Test also represented his Test-best bowling figures

The main heroes of this win are It's their first win at cricket's mecca since 1986. It's their first away win since 2011. It started with Ajinkya Rahane's brilliant  105 on the opening day green-top. It was followed by Bhuvneshwar Kumar's penetrative 6-82. Then followed Murali Vijay' 95 and a brilliant counterattack from Ravindra Jadeja and Bhuvneshwar, who became the first No. 9 in history to score three fifties in a Test series.





Finally, the last day was all about Ishant Sharma. India's prodigal seamer produced his greatest Test performance,one incredible spell in which he took  all five wickets with bouncers. Ishant has thus created some milestone with his stellar performance at Lord's .It is his career best figures of 7 for 74.  He became the first Indian bowler to take seven wickets in an innings in England.  It is the  best bowling figures at Lord's by a subcontinent bowler
