Mehidy Hasan has played a brilliant knock against the odds here. He has taken BAN over the victory line as BAN won by 1 wicket. India would not be happy that they missed the chances in the end part of the innings. The match swung like a pendulum and it favoured the home team in the end. The pitch was slow and the bowlers enjoyed their time. KL Rahul enjoyed his time as he led India post 186. The Indian bowler produced a good show and got wickets at regular intervals. However, Mehidy Hasan got stuck and that too badly for India. He notched a 50-run stand for the 9th wicket with Mustafizur Rahman to deny India a thrilling win. Hope you enjoyed this. Another one for Kuldeep Sen and he sends the Indian fans in joy. This was a good length ball and the pace has done the trick for Sen. Ebadot Hossain went way behind on this quick ball and he steps onto the stumps. BAN 8 down and are now in big trouble.

Bangladesh had set batters and were getting the partnerships but the Indian bowlers have sent all the set batters and now new willow holders are on the crease with 59 needed off 89. Both Mushfiqur Mahmudullah are out on consecutive balls and getting really interesting now.

And Shardul Thakur has provided with a crucial breakthrough. Another partnership was building and India would be happy that they have got Mahmudullah

Runs are drying up at the moment. The duo of Mushfiqur and Mahmudullah are playing steadily and there has not been a boundary in over 50 balls. 68 needed out of 108 balls. Looks gettable unless India find some more wickets.

Sundar has got another wicket and this one was due to the brilliance of Virat Kohli at covers. A flighted ball from Sundar and Shakib is deceived. Wanted to drive this and hit that hard. But Kohli jumped to his right to grab a stunning catch. India coming back in this.

Washington Sundar has got the Bangladesh captain and it's a big wicket for India. The partnership was building and India needed this. Sundar bowls a good length ball, which picks the edge and a good sharp catch by Rahul behind the stumps. Can India cash on this?

The Indian team has been bowled out for 186 in the 1st ODI. This did not look quite promising. Even though the surface looked slow and was holding the ball, this total seems under par. Apart from KL Rahul, no one clicked. Dhawan and Kohli were dismissed cheaply and Rohit followed after some fight. Sundar partnered with Rahul well but once he departed, the other all-rounders were soon dismissed. Rahul departed for 73 as Ebadot Hossain got him. Shakib showed his class and got a 5-wicket haul while Ebadot Hossain got 4 wickets as India got out in 41.2 overs. The Men in Blue would surely need to do a big task to come back into this match. Back with the chase. 

Bangladesh have got the final recoganised batter KL Rahul, who walks back after playing a brilliant hand. He made 73 and anchored the innings but fell to Ebadot Hossain's bouncer. 200 looking far.

Shakib Al Hasan has achieved the best figures by a spinner against India. Shakib's fourth wicket of Shardul gave him the honors. He has 3 more overs to go

Shakib Al Hasan is playing with India's batting right now. He has plumbed Deepak Chahar infront of the wickets and gets his 5-fer. IND 8 down and Rahul is running out of partners.

Shakib has cleaned Shardul Thakur now. This is his 4th wicket of the day and the Indian batters continue to struggle. Shardul played the wrong line and has been beaten as he gets bowled.

Make it 6 then. Shahbaz comes and goes for a duck. This probably deceived the batter with an extra bounce. Shahbaz wanted to punch this to the covers but hesitated and could not time. Shardul now comes to partner Rahul, who needs someone to stay with him right now.

Sundar falls after playing a supportive role. The duo had notched up a 60-run stand but Shakib gets another wicket. Sundar was not able to get going completely and has been caught as he tried to play a reverse sweep. Shahbaz Ahmed walks in now.

KL Rahul is playing a good hand here for India. He has brought up a fighting fifty in a tough situation. India need him more. 

India are 105/4 after the mid-phase of the innings. The Men in Blue have lost wickets at regular interval and Bangladesh are probably ahead in this game at the moment. Ball is holding a bit. But with KL Rahul is partnering Sundar and with depth in this Indian batting, India should look to build partnerships and back themselves for a late flourish. Rahul holds the key here.

Shreyas Iyer could not hold it more and falls on the bouncer. He was targetted with this ball since the start and kept the patience but not anymore. Iyer top-edged this short ball and the wicket-keeper grabs an easy one. IND 4 down and Sundar now comes in.

Drinks are on the field now and India have just started to rebuild the innings after losing quick wickets. Bangladesh are ahead but Rahul and Iyer are trying to build a partnership. The crucial stage of the innings coming up.

With India losing quick wickets, the middle order is given a tedious task in the early part of the innings. Dhawan, Rohit, and Virat all fell to the Bangladesh spinners and all of a sudden India are on the back foot. Rahul and Iyer are out in the middle and they have the tempo and the skill to rebuild but with spin doing a bit, will they be able to?

Shakib Al Hasan has got the pillars of the Indian batting in the same over. Virat Kohli has to walk back after skipper Rohit Sharma. This was a fuller ball around off and Virat wanted to clear the covers. But a brilliant diving catch by Bangladesh captain Litton Das to get rid of Kohli. Rahul now comes in along with Shreyas Iyer.

And just after the powerplay, Bangladesh have got the Indian skipper in the next over. Shakib Al Hasan bowled him. 

Powerplay ends and India are 48/1. The Men in Blue have lost Dhawan but would be happy to see runs on the board. Sharma is looking in good touch while Virat Kohli is also starting to open up.

Mehidy has struck and India lose an early wicket. Dhawan tried to play a reverse sweep but could not hit it. The ball hit body and then broke the stumps. Virat Kohli walks in to bat.

In another big update, Rishabh Pant has been released from the ODIU squad. BCCI informed, "In consultation with the BCCI Medical Team, Rishabh Pant has been released from the ODI squad. He will join the team ahead of the Test series. No replacement has been sought." The board added, Axar Patel was not available for selection today.

The New Zealand series missed the senior boys but now with those guys coming back, India are starting their preparations for the 2023 ODI World Cup.
