Mirpur: 19 years old Debutant Taskin Ahmed of bangladesh ripped through the Indian batting line up  to leave them 105 all out in 25.3 overs in the rain curtailed 2nd ODI here Tuesday at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. India failed to last reduced 41 overs.



This is  India's lowest ODI total against Bangladesh. Their their previous low of 191 in Port of Spain during the 2007 World Cup.

The stunning collapse was triggered by Taskin, who returned figures of 5/28, making it the best debut bowling performance by a Bangladesh player.

Put in to bat after host won the toss, India lost their first wicket in the very first over when Mashrafi Mortaza trapped opener Rahane LBW for naught. Game had to be  stopped due to rain during sixth over.

The match was halted in the sixth over for 2 1/2 hours because of rain, after which it was reduced to 41 overs per side.

Soon after play resumed, Ahmed claimed Robin Uthappa for 14 and Ambati Rayudu on 1 in quick succession.

Next to go was Rayudu becoming second victim of taskin. He made just one run. Taskin went on to claim five wickets conceding just 28 runs in his eight overs.

For india skipper Suresh rRaina was the tos scorer making 27.
