Dubai, Feb 15: Pakistan ambassador to United Arab Emirates, Jameel Ahmed on Wednesday hinted that cricket series between India and Pakistan is likely to be played in 2013.
Talking to media after meeting with Indian ambassador, Jameed Ahmed has said that he discussed the proposal for a cricket series between the two counties and was hoping the series would be held in the UAE sometime next year.
He said the Indian ambassador also wanted the series but the decision regarding this would be taken after both countries agree to it.
Earlier, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman, Zaka Ashraf had said that Board of Control for Cricket in Indian (BCCI) was facing difficulties in getting clearance for resuming cricketing ties with Pakistan.
He had also humorously remarked that the BCCI appeared to be afraid about Team India playing Pakistan because of the latter's recent performance against England.
