PAK beat IND by 13 runs
Pakistan women's team has emerged victorious after beating India by 13 runs. The Indian team did not look strong in the chase as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Pakistan dropped some chances but held on to some very good ones. Richa Ghosh played a brilliant cameo in the end to give India a chance to win but once she walked back, it was probably all done. This is India's first loss in the ongoing Women's Asia Cup. The women in blue will look to bounce back when they next play against Bangladesh tomorrow. Till then, it's a Good bye from Varun Malik and Jishu Bhattacharya.

Pakistan has struck the third wicket as Smriti Mandhana walks back after getting a lifeline from a missed stumping. Mandhana wanted to go downtown, lofted it at long-on but the fielder held herself to complete a good catch. India is in trouble.

India women's team has been dealt with two blows in the powerplay. S Meghana and Smriti Mandhana started well but the former was caught in the fourth over. The in-form Jemimah Rodrigues walked out at No.3 but she also went back quickly, leaving IND in some trouble now.

At end of the halfway mark of the first innings, Pakistan women are at 61/3. They started steadily but lost three quick wickets when they started to express more. The powerplay belonged to India. However, Nida Dar and captain Bismah Maroof have started to build a partnership. They would need to carry on for Pakistan. For India, they need Dar now.

End of the powerplay and Pakistan is in trouble. They started carefully with not many risks but have now lost their way as India is on fire. Pooja Vastrakar sent Sidra Ameen back first and then Deepti Sharma scalped two wickets in a single over. With both openers back and Pakistan having lost quick wickets, captain Bismah Maroof will have the responsibility to rebuild the innings.

Harmanpreet Kaur is back in her captain's role while Radha Yadav also comes back to the team. KP Navgire and Sneh Rana are the ones to miss out.
