IND vs WI 1st Test Day 2 Live Cricket Score: Yashasvi Jaiswal's scintillating purple patch made him the 17th Indian batter to score a century on his Test debut and the third Indian opener to do so. Jaiswal's maiden Test century, ably supported by skipper Rohit Sharma's 10th ton in the longest format of the game helped India get ahead of the game with a 229-run stand. Rohit immediately got out after scoring his century and Shubman Gill too followed suit before Virat Kohli and Jaiswal got their side through to the stumps unscathed with an unbeaten 72-run stand. India have a 162-run lead currently and will hope to get it to beyond 300 before declaring.

Kohli overcame a nervy start to play a solid knock as he went past Virender Sehwag on the list of most runs for India in Test cricket. India are 162 runs ahead and will hope to add at least 150 more runs before declaring.

    Umpire Richard Kettleborough was unmoved when Kemar Roach had trapped Yashasvi Jaiswal LBW on 133. It looked very close from the naked eye but the umpire didn't move an inch and the West Indies didn't have any reviews left, which meant that Jaiswal survived.
