IND vs WI 2nd Test Day 2: After ending Day 1 slightly ahead of West Indies, India look to keep their hands above the hosts at Port of Spain. Virat Kohli's 87 and Rohit Sharma's 80 powered India close to 300, whereas a few contributions too played a key part. Stumps on Day 2
And that will be stumps on Day 2 of the second Test. West Indies show greater resistence than we saw in the previous Test. They go back to the pavilion with 86/1 and trail by 352 runs. India would have some work to do on Day 3 to get Windies out as there seems hardly anything for the bowlers.

Windies breach 50
50 is up for West Indies and in a much of a relief for the fans, WI have not lost a wicket so far. Both Brathwaite and Chanderpaul are batting time and keeping the Indian bowlers at bay.

Windies have been cautious with the bat until now. They have not lost a wicket in the first 11 overs but have added only 23. Chanderpaul is looking more defensive.

And West Indies have now begun their batting after bowling India all out for 438 in the second session. Kraigg Brathwaite and Tagenarine Chanderpaul are in the middle as we began the third and final session of the day. Siraj with the new cherry in hand.

Kishan falls, Ashwin survives
Ishan Kishan departs early in the second session. He has been caught behind on Jason Holder's ball as India go 7 down. Meanwhile it could have been another one for the hosts as Ashwin was given out LBW. He reviews and the ball just misses the leg stump.

India have lost 2 wickets and added 85 runs in the first session. Kohli got to a hundred, Jadeja hit a fifty but both fell in the first session. India have Kishan and Ashwin in the middle. Will 400 be enough to produce a declaration. We will find that out in session No.2.
