IND vs SA 2nd T20I Highlights: South Africa chase down 152 with ease, beat India by 5 wickets
Another rain-hit contest, but thankful there was a result at the end of it all as South Africa took a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20 series against India. After being sent in to bat first, India scored 180 runs before their innings came to a forced end prematurely in 19.3 overs due to rain. On a wicket that was seaming and swinging, it seemed like a par score after captain Suryakumar Yadav and Rinku Singh smashed fifties. However, the surface sped up after the rain break and South African batters utilised the conditions. Reeza Hendricks and skipper Aiden Markram didn't let any of the Indian bowlers settle as they helped South Africa chase down 152 runs in just 13.5 overs after the rain made it a 15-overs per-side contest. India will be hoping to come back stronger in the series decider in Johannesburg.
