IND vs ENG 5th Test Highlights: India win by an innings and 64 runs to clinch the series 4-1 against England

Kuldeep Yadav has been named the player of the series for his five-wicket haul in the first innings while Yashasvi Jaiswal was named the player of the series for scoring 712 runs.

After 112 long years, a team has come back to win the series 4-1 after losing the series opener. Meanwhile, skipper Rohit Sharma has now 10 Test wins to his name as India captain and has surpassed Sunil Gavaskar and Nawab Pataudi, who both had nine wins to their name.

Kuldeep Yadav has dismissed Joe Root to take the final wicket of the innings as India clinch the Dharamsala Test by an innings and 64 and the series 4-1.

Bairstow was in his counter-attacking mode and Kuldeep just trapped him LBW in front by an in-turning delivery that surprised the batter and England are four down now.

James Anderson has become the third bowler and the only fast bowler to take 700 wickets in Test cricket as he broke the stubborn 49-run stand between Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah. Anderson induced an outside edge to dismiss Kuldeep Yadav as he reached the massive milestone.

After a fourth five-wicket haul in Tests in the first innings, Kuldeep showed incredible maturity to keep the English bowlers out of the game and bat well alongside Bumrah.

At 428/8, England would have hoped to see the end of the Indian innings rather soon. However, it wasn't the case as Kuldeep Yadav and Jaasprit Bumrah have frustrated the visitors with an unbeaten stand of 45 runs.
