There was some breeze from the side I was bowling so I used that. I didn't get the wickets the way I wanted but that's okay. It's just minor changes in the run-up, in the wrist. It's just exploring how I can get better and trying out things. The experience is there. The more you play, the better you get. Really excited the way everyone bowled, especially Mayank. Even my normal balls felt like slower balls compared to his pace. In this format the best thing you can do is adapt to different pitches and conditions."

Hardik Pandya powers India to an easy win with 4, 4 and 6 off Taskin Ahmed.

Hardik Pandya and Nitish Reddy keep the scoreboard moving with regular boundaries as India look in a hurry for a big win. Hardik brings India's 100 with a cracking four off Mustafizur Rahman.

Indian bowlers proved too strong for Bangladesh in the first T20I game in Gwalior. Arshdeep Singh started with a bang and also finished the innings with three wickets. The returning Varun Chakravarthy took 3 wickets while the pace sensation Mayank Yadav claimed one wicket for 21.

For Bangladesh, Mehidy Hasan Miraz scored a crucial 35* off 32 balls while captain Najmul Shanto added 27 runs.

The speedster bowls his maiden over in international cricket and displays his skills with the 6 dot deliveries. 

He became the only third Indian male cricketer to bowl a maiden over on a T20I debut after Ajit Agarkar (2006) and Arshdeep Singh (2022).

A sensational start for the 22-year-old pacer. 

Varun Chakravarthyu also claimed a wicket on his return but Nitish Reddy dropped an easy catch at the deep square leg. Towhid Hridoy survives and smashes a four on the next ball as well.

Some important runs in the powerplay for Bangladesh as Najmul Shanto finish Varun's first over in the last three years with a brilliant reverse-scoop six.
