Aussies win!!
And Australia have won the match. They get the final wicket and India go down by 209 runs. A big win for the Aussies. India had a slight chance but realistically it was Aussies who had their hands almost on the Test mace. So India need to wait longer for an ICC title.

Weather Update and Pitch Report from Kumar Sangakkara and Nasser Hussain
It's around 30 degrees and there is a 40% chance of rain coming down, so there could be a thunderstorm, but we do have a reserve day in hand for this game. The surface though has changed, from green grass to dry grass, and the bounce has become lower. There are some footholes on the left-handers side, but there's not a lot against the right-hand batters. There could be some reverse with the old ball, but the bowlers will have to work hard for it. An unusual Oval pitch, it deteriorates usually, but this one has actually become better,'

India's is there but only just
The Aussies are favourite but don't count the Indians out. Australia are 7 wickets away and infact have 5 batters standing in their way as rest is the Indian tail. But these Indians have scripted history earlier, too. In Sydney, in Gabba in 2020 or in Kolkata in 2001. Can they script another fairytale today?

The Day has come
280 runs needed 7 wickets to go, India on 164/3 and dreaming. Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane in the middle, K S Bharat, Ravindra Jadeja and Shardul Thakur to follow. The day has come. It's all or nothing today. After those four intense days of Australia's dominance and India's act of hanging by a thread, it comes down to this. Hello and a warm welcome everyone to the live coverage of WTC Final Day 5. We are in the final day of this test match and India are still in it. Going behind a record target of 444, India have lost Gill, Rohit and Pujara. But their positive intent coupled with the conditions not doing much on Day 4, India have scored at over 4 an over. Will they script a magic today, or will the favourites Aussies take it home. We will find it out in some hours. Stay tuned.
