The off spinner who was struggling with his form before the beginning of the tournament seemed to found his magic back. He took 11 wickets from six matches. He particularly was unplayable by the Aussie batsman. Ashwin in his 3.2 overs scalped four Aussie batsman by giving away only eleven runs.
