Johannesburg, Apr 8: Highveld Lions defeagted Titans by 30 runs at the Wanderers on Sunday to win the South African Twenty20 Challenge final.
Lions made 155 runs for 5 from 20 overs as Quinton de Kock scored 44 and Neil McKenzie scored 39 runs.
The Titans started well and reached 40 for now loss in four overs, but the run rate slowed down and wickets began to fall.
Herschelle Gibbs made 22 runs while David Wiese made 21.
Chris Morris, Aaron Phangiso, Imran Tahir, Sohail Tanvir took two wickets each for the Lions.
Both the finalists will take part in the 2013 Champions League.
