The England paceman reignited the debate on whether players should walk before the fifth Test at The Oval after publicly admitting he knew he had edged the ball.

Australian coach Darren Lehmann subsequently went on Australian radio and accused Broad of cheating in an interview that earned him a fine for breaching the ICC's code of conduct.

Broad, who is certain to come under heavy fire from Australian fans throughout the upcoming Ashes series, beginning in Brisbane on November 21, revealed Lehmann attempted to clear the air after the fifth Test in England.
