Speaking on surprise declaration Smith's surprised  decision to call off the play, Dhoni with tongue in cheek said, “ I don't want to comment on this but it's a bit difficult to declare slightly late when of one of your  batsman is in his 90s….you have to wait for him.”

“In all three test matches we built the partnerships but sudden batting collapses put the pressure back on us,” said Indian skipper.

“We need a bit time as we have new boys in the side and they feel pressurized. Its just a matter of time when we start winning the matches abroad,” said Dhoni on home away performances.

Commenting on some quick wickets fall today Dhoni said, “ Batsmen played some loose shots at the crucial stage.”

However he specially praised Rahane and Virat who put on 85 runs for the fourth wicket after India lost three quick wickets, and described their batting performance as tremendous.

“Virat is an aggressive batsman who likes to take on opposition but today he really batted well.
