Mumbai: India skipper MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina will launch a seven-a-side, seven team corporate cricket league in Dubai this week.
According to a report in a national daily, the 7 Premier League (7PL) will be organised by a UAE-based corporation and its debut is scheduled in March this year.
Seven teams from the seven Emirates i.e; Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah and Umm al-Qaiwain, will participate in the tournament which will have 7-overs per inning.
According to the report, the BCCI, ACB, ECB, RCA, PCB and Sri Lankan cricket board have already permitted their players to participate in the league.
