New Delhi: In the ongoing test match against West Indies at Wankhede, Mumbai, Indian Off-spinner, R Ashwin became the fastest bowler to get 100 test wickets. Indian skipper MS Dhoni also completed 250 dismissals feat as wicketkeeper in Test matches.
MS Dhoni caught Tino Best off Pragyan Ojha who became his 250th prey. Dhoni also equaled the record of leading India for maximum number of Test matches with Sourav Ganguly.
Dhoni started today's match with 248. First he dismissed Darren Bravo which was his 249th dismissal and later he caught Best.
Dhoni is now seventh in the list of highest dismissals by a wicket keeper after Mark Boucher (555), Adam Gilchrist (416), Ian Healy (395), Rodney Marsh (355), Jeff Dujon (270) and Alan Knott (269).
Off spinner, Ravichandran Ashwin also took his 100th Test wicket. His 100th victim was that of West Indian captain Darren Sammy. He reached the milestone in just 18 Test matches that made him fifth fastest in history to do so.
