DC vs GT IPL 2023 Highlights: Gujarat win their second consecutive game, beat DC by 6 wickets

Gujarat Titans have won their second consecutive match of IPL 2023. The defending champions have all the boxes ticked right now to retain their title!!!! Who can beat them?

So Delhi have managed to score 162/8 in 20 overs of their batting. This is the lowest score registered so far in the first innings of IPL 2023. This did not look like a proper Delhi pitch as batting looked a bit challenging. DC did not get a good start as they lost Shaw. GT's Shami and Joseph took early wickets to keep things in control. Warner and the middle order tried to fight but kept losing wickets. Rashid came in the 13th over and struck straight away with a wicket of Porel. He got two more in the death as the batters looked to hit him. So the Titans need 163 to win on this pitch. Can they get it? Back with the reply.

And there is a reason why Hardik has kept Rashid in the later part of the innings. He is difficult to hit and Sarfaraz falls on the next ball after hitting him for a four. He wanted to slog-sweep but could not clear the the fielder on the leg side. DC are 6 down now.

Axar Patel and Sarfaraz are in the middle as DC look for more runs in the innings. Its time-out after 16 overs and DC are at 126/5. Axar is looking good. Can he keep going?

And Porel has now been bowled by the magician spinner Rashid Khan. That was full on the middle and a quick ball as Porel gets beaten and goes back for 20. Rashid was brought in the 13th over and gets his reward straight up.

Abhishek Porel is proving himself a good addition in the team. Porel and Sarfaraz have taken DC past 100 in 12 overs with loss of two wickets. They Aman Khan and Axar Patel to come in. Can they get 170 plus?

Yash Dayal took a good catch at third-man but unfortunately, he went over the ropes. This was hit well by Porel as he tried to guide this short ball to third-man. Dayal times his jump well as the ball sticks to his hand but he goes over the ropes. DC need luck like these.

Ohh, this was very close. Joseph picked two in two and was very close of a hat trick as the ball was in the air. But just lands short of mid-on. He first took the wicket of David Warner, who played on a good length ball around off. Then Joseph picked Rossouw on the first ball as Tewatia grabbed a wonderful diving catch ahead of backward point.

And as we hoped for him to go in 40s, Warner has played on this one of Jospeh.

Delhi Capitals are 52/2 after 6 overs. This is a good battle between bat and ball. Shami has got two crucial wickets and even though Delhi have made some runs in the powerplay, they are not looking very comfortable. Sarfaraz is in the middle with Warner.
