Islamabad: Najam Sethi's appeal against his suspension as Pakistan Cricket Board chairman was adjourned by the Islamabad High Court on Thursday to the first week of December.
The PCB has filed an intra-court appeal against the judgment of IHC Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui for fresh elections for the chairman.
Sethi is effectively the head of the PCB after he was elected last month as chairman of the interim management committee of the board.
Siddiqui suspended former chairman Zaka Ashraf in late May on a petition filed by a former cricket official of Rawalpindi city. The judge termed Ashraf's re-election process as "polluted."
The government appointed Sethi as the interim chairman, but last month Siddique ordered fresh elections against which the government filed an intra-court appeal.
