COLOMBO, Sri Lanka : Sri Lanka has appointed former Surrey coach Chris Adams as a consultant for the upcoming tour of England after regular coach Paul Farbrace resigned earlier this month.
Adams, a former England test batsman, was enlisted to help the Sri Lankans compete in English conditions. Englishman Farbrace resigned suddenly this month to become England assistant coach.
Sri Lanka appointed former captain Marvan Atapattu as interim coach and former allrounder Ruwan Kalpage as his deputy.
The team will play two tests, five one-day internationals and a Twenty20 match from May 20.
