Bombay HC gives relief to BCCI, stays arbitrator's order in Deccan Chargers case

Mumbai, Oct 13: The Bombay High Court today granted stay on the arbitrator's order giving Deccan Chargers time till October 17 in the face of BCCI's termination order.



BCCI had challenged the arbitrator's order, and sought the High Court's intervention.

The High Court held the termination order given by BCCI to Deccan Chargers as valid.

Earlier, the arbitrator had called for maintaining status quo and given Deccan Chargers time till October 17 to sort out its payment issues.
