Khulna, Bangladesh: Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan struck centuries as Bangladesh amassed 433 in its first innings against Zimbabwe on the second day of the second test on Tuesday.

Shakib brought up his third test century after lunch and was dismissed on 137, while Tamim scored 109, his fifth test century.
Mahmudullah was the other notable contributor with 56. Mominul Haque scored 35.
Fast bowlers Tinashe Panyangara (2-49) and Tendia Chatara (2-61), and offspinner Malcolm Waller (2-65) led the visitors' battery.
Bangladesh resumed the second day on 193-3, and Shakib and Tamim came out aggressively against Zimbabwe's bowlers to pace the attack.
Shakib hit 18 fours and two sixes before being bowled by Waller.
Tamim was out after trying to chase a wide delivery off medium-pacer Hamilton Maskadza. He earned his first century in four years with a four off legspinner Natsai M'Shangwe after facing 312 balls, easily the slowest century by a Bangladeshi.

Usually an attacking batsman, Tamim ended his century drought after 33 innings. He struck 10 fours in his innings.
