Dhaka, Nov 14: Ravi Rampaul took two wickets to restrict Bangladesh to 164-3 at stumps after West Indies declared its first innings at 527-4 on day two of the first cricket test.
Opener Tamim Iqbal collected a stormy 72 from 71 balls but Bangladesh also lost opener Junaid Siddique (7) and Shahriar Nafees (31).
Naeem Islam (27) and Shakib Al Hasan (16) were unbeaten at stumps as Bangladesh still trailed by 363 runs.
Rampaul conceded 49 runs to take Nafees and Siddique. Skipper Darren Sammy removed Iqbal.
Earlier, Shivnarine Chanderpaul scored an unbeaten 203 and Denesh Ramdin posted a century after resuming the day on 361-4.
