Mumbai: West Indies beat India by 7 wickets to enter their second final of the ICC World T20 2016.

In what was a thriller of a match, Windies held their nerves to conquer the semi-final at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Lendl Simmons sailed West Indies boat to go past the massive total of 193 runs set by India in 19.4 overs. He blasted unbeaten 82 off 51 balls.

After having dismissed Chris Gayle early, Indian bowlers never really fired off in the rest of the overs.

With each bowler conceding heavy runs in their spell, Indian bowling line-up didn't performed up to the mark.

Earlier, A good start by the openers, excellent running between the wickets and a blast of a knock by Virat Kohli propelled India to 192 at the lost of two wickets in the second semi-final of the ICC World Cup 2016 against West Indies at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Openers Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane, who replaced Shikhar Dhawan in the match, provided India a much-needed start. Rohit, who appeared rusty at the start of his innings didn't take long to recover and scored 43 off 31 balls.

Together, Rahane and Rohit worked a partnership of 62 runs for the first wicket. However, Rohit had his feet jammed as he misjudged a delivery by Badree which went on to hit his pads. He was adjudged LBW when India were at a score of 62 in the eighth over.

Virat Kohli then walked on to the crease and again emerged as India's star batsman scoring 89 off 47 balls. However, his innings included several lifelines that the Caribbean fielders provided him with.

Rahane and Virat added 66 runs with Kolhi for the second wicket. The former went back for 40 off 35 balls.

Dhoni promoted himself up the order and together with Virat displayed some exemplary running between the wickets to take India to a respectable total.

Earlier, West Indies won the toss and put India to bat first.

Two changes were made in the Indian squad for the crucial match. Manish Pandey and Ajinkya Rahane were brought in place of Yuvraj Singh and Shikhar Dhawan.

Yuvraj was ruled out of the semi-final after injuring his ankle in the league match against Australia while Dhawan has been left out because of his poor form in the entire tournament.
