With only five days to go for the World Cup, England suffers a massive setback with a potential injury to Eoin Morgan.
England captain Eoin Morgan will undergo a precautionary X-ray after injuring a finger on his left hand, less than a week before the start of the Cricket World Cup.
The England and Wales Cricket Board says Morgan was hurt during catching drills in a practice session on Friday ahead of a warmup game against Australia in Southampton on Saturday.
The World Cup starts on May 30, when host nation England plays South Africa at The Oval.
