Virat Kohli did all he could as a batsman during the first Test against England in Birmingham but still couldn't lead his team to victory. Always a fiery character on the field, Kohli was the centre of attraction for all fans every time he was on the field. His mic-drop rebuttal of opposition captain Joe Root took the Internet by a storm and also served as banter for a lot of English fans.
The latter took it upon themselves to respond by booing Kohli when he came out to bat on the 2nd day of the Test. However, Kohli wooed them all with his fantastic innings of 149 in the first innings and a fighting 51 in the second. However, after the game ended joyous English supporters were seen outside the stadium lining up around the Indian team's bus. They were seen chanting "Where is your Virat Kohli gone?" and were seen in animated jostling with Indian fans. Though all of this seemed in good humour one couldn't help but feel amused at the ingenious ways fans find to support their teams. Here is the video:
