Pakistan's star cricketer Shahid Afridi recently revealed the name of the cricketer who gave him the celebrated title 'Boom Boom Afridi', during an interaction with his fans on Twitter on Sunday.

"All set for the #AskLala session that is to begin in 5minutes from now at 1030PM PST. The questions that are interesting enough for me, I’ll personally send them this signed #HopeNotOut T-Shirt by @SAFoundationN - Let the Questions begin," Afridi said on Twitter.

Amidst numerous questions ranging from cricket to Bollywood, one of the most special questions was "Who gave you the title Boom Boom?"

Afridi replied: "Ravi Shastri", acknowledging the current Team India head coach who gave the stylish all-rounder the famous nickname while doing commentary for an ODI match between arch-rivals in Kanpur in 2005.

Afridi scored a knock of 102 runs off 46 balls to guide Pakistan to a five-wicket win against India.

Having played 398 ODIs and 99 T20Is for Pakistan, Afridi has 9480 runs to his name from the limited-over cricket. He made 1716 runs in 27 Test matches at a strike rate of 86.97.

Besides cricket, some of Afridi's fans were curious to know about his opinion about Bollywood's leading men - Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.

When a user asked him, "One word about SRK", Afridi replied: "Self-made guy."

On the same question for Salman, the 38-year-old said: "Recently met him in Canada. Good human being, liked the time we spent together."
