Batsman Sagar Mishra, who plays for Western Railway, has made his entry into an elite grouping of some of the best batsmen in the game. On Wednesday, Mishra created a tournament record by hitting six sixes in an over in Times Shield 'B' Division game against RCF in Mumbai.

In fact, the left-hander, who was sent into bat at No.4 for Western Railway on Day 2, blasted nine sixes off the final 11 balls that he faced.

"I was promoted to No.4, because their left-arm spinner was bowling well and I was sent to up the scoring rate. I just played normally, according to the situation," Times of India quoted Mishra as saying.

"It's a dream come true. I remember watching Yuvraj Singh's six sixes in an over on TV nine years back. Never did I imagine that I'd do something similar," Mishra added.

However, the left-hander regretted not reaching the milestone figure of 100.

“My only regret is that I couldn't complete my hundred," the WR batsman said.

The young batsman is now hopeful that his feat would be noticed by the Railways selectors.
