Former India captain and current ODI wicketkeeper MS Dhoni on November 1 won hearts after fulfilling the wish of a special fan on his way to the 5th and final ODI against West Indies in Thiruvananthapuram. In a video posted by MS Dhoni Fans Official's Facebook page, the legend is seen walking towards the Greenfield Stadium but stops on his way to meet a specially-abled fan Laiju who was waiting for Mahi.
Dhoni promptly went ahead and shook the young fan's hand before gently stroking his forehead. He also posed for some pictures along with signing a framed photograph.
Later, Indian captain, Virat Kohli is also seen walking towards the kid to say hello.
The video of the gesture has been doing rounds of social media and has already crossed 1,00,000 views on FB alone. Meanwhile, India captain Virat Kohli on Thursday reiterated that Mahendra Singh Dhoni remains an integral part of the ODI team and the veteran wicket-keeper batsman decided not to play the upcoming T20s only to make way for the much younger Rishabh Pant.
