Pune: The 29th match of the Indian Premier League between Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiants witnessed an ugly incident when MI players Harbhajan Singh and Ambati Rayudu got involved in an on-field spat.

The incident took place in the eleventh over of Pune’s innings when Rayudu failed to stop a boundary hit by Saurabh Tiwary at deep midwicket off Harbhajan’s bowling despite a valiant effort.

Enraged with the misfileding, Harbhajan started shouting at his teammate, which sparked the argument between the two players.

Rayudu, who was in no mood to let go, with an animated reaction walked towards Harbhajan to counter him.

However, Harbhajan showed maturity and was seen pacifying his teammate thereby bringing the situation under control.

This in not the first incident when Harbhajan Singh has involved in an on-field spat during an IPL match. During the first season of IPL in 2008, the off-spinner had slapped Sreesanth after Kings XI Punjab was defeated by Mumbai Indians.
