Indian veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who represented Mumbai Indians for a decade, brought a bit of 'Punjabi Tadka' with his arrival to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for the 2018 Indian Premier League, starting April 7. In a video, Harbhajan was seen performing some remarkable Bhangra moves on a street filled with the CSK fans.
Harbhajan, who was a part of Mumbai Indians when they won the titles in 2013, 2015 and 2017, wasn't retained by Rohit Sharma-led team in the IPL Auction. MS Dhoni-led CSK, following their love for seasoned campaigners, bought the 37-year-old at his base price of Rs 2 Crore.
Later, CSK batsman Murali Vijay shared the full video on Twitter.
Earlier on Thursday, the two-time champions, CSK welcomed Harbhajan, saying: "Singh is Super King! #HomeSweetDen #WhistlePodu."
The Punjabi cricketer thanked the Chennai-based franchise after receiving his jersey with a number '27', which is "special" for the seasoned spinner.
"27.. yes a very special number for me! new number new journey .. let the party begin! #whistlepodu," Harbhajan tweeted.
Harbhajan will be seen in action on April 7 when representing CSK, he will face old team Mumbai Indians at their home ground -- Wankhede Stadium.
