Former India captain and one of the greatest ever to play the game, Rahul Dravid, turned 45 today. Dravid, who is respected around the world for his humble and down to earth nature, celebrated his birthday in style with his Under-19 boys. Dravid is currently the coach of India U-19 and 'A' teams.
Dravid, who is fondly known as "the wall" for his solid defence, is in New Zealand with the U-19 team for the junior world cup and the young colts didn't leave any chance to make it a day to remember for their coach.
India U-19 captain Prithvi Shaw, along with his teammates, smeared the cake all over Dravid's face.
Dravid was part of India's "Famous Five" along with Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman and Virender Sehwag, which was probably one of the finest batting line-ups for India.
Dravid smashed 13,288 runs and 36 centuries in Test cricket and 10,889 runs with 12 tons in One Day Internationals.
Many cricketers took to Twitter to wish the former India captain.
