Team India skipper Virat Kohli, who has been rested by the BCCI has taken out time to shift and set up his new house in Mumbai where he recently uploaded a picture on his Instagram account, giving his fans a glimpse of the picturesque view from his balcony. Kohli has been rested from the on-going Nidahas Trophy 2018 and it is deputy Rohit Sharma who leads the Men in Blue at the moment in the Tri-Nation series.
Virat and Anushka who tied the knot last year in December, have finally moved into their new home in Mumbai and as media reports suggest, the apartment in Worli is a sprawling 7,171-square foot and has a sea facing view and the view from his new flat cannot get any more exquisite than this, take a look.
The view from Virushka's new house in Mumbai is simply breathtaking and as seen in the picture that the skipper uploaded, the duo can gander at an unblocked view of the Arabian sea.
As media reports suggest, the duo had bought the flat back in 2016 for a whopping Rs.34 crore and is one of the most luxurious spaces to stay put in recent times. Kohli had uploaded a picture in his home with the caption,'Coffee at home tastes even better'.
The Indian skipper seems to be at ease after being rested after a hectic tour in South Africa where he led the Men in Blue to create history by winning the six-match ODIs 5-1 and the three-match T20Is 2-1. Kohli now kicks in the backseat and relaxes and waits till he leads the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) which begins from April 7.
Other than the leader of the pack, MS Dhoni, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya have also been rested from the squad as the BCCI has sent in a younger pack to face Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in the Tri-Nation series.
India lost the first match to Sri Lanka but managed to bounce back against Bangladesh with the same playing XI that lost to the hosts at Colombo. India will next play Sri Lanka in the 4th T20I of the Tri-Nation series on March 12.
