Indian sports fraternity condemned the Sri Lanka Terror attack in which over 160 people lost their lives on the occasion of Easter.

The multiple bomb blast in three churches and hotels each on Sunday caused a lot of stir as according to reports almost 450 people got injured.

Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli was among others who took to Twitter to share their grief over the horrific incident.

"Shocked to hear the news coming in from Sri Lanka. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by this tragedy. #PrayForSriLanka," Kohli tweeted.

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar also took to social to condemn the act of terror and tweeted, "Saddened to hear about the terror attacks in various parts of Sri Lanka. Strongly condemn these acts of terror. Hatred and violence will never overpower love, kindness, and compassion. #SriLanka."

Indian Tennis ace Sania Mirza expresses his sadness on Twitter and posted, "What is happening to this world, may God help us all .. really .. #SriLanka."

Apart from Indian sportspersons some overseas players also denounced the act of terror.

Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen was heartbroken with the incident and posted on his personal Twitter account, "My Word! #SriLanka, the most beautiful country with the most wonderful people, completely heartbreaking."

The blasts targetted St Anthony's Church in Colombo, St Sebastian's Church in the western coastal town of Negombo and another church in the eastern town of Batticaloa around 8.45 am (local time) as the Easter Sunday mass were in progress, police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekera said.
