New Delhi: India’s star cricketer Virat Kohli, who is currently enjoying some rest ahead of the busy cricketing schedule, showed his support for Germany in the ongoing Euro 2016.
Kohli took to Twitter to post a picture of himself wearing a Germany jersey with his name and number 18 on it.
Toni Kroos, the German mid fielder who wears the jersey with the same number, took out time from his busy sporting schedule to thank and the cricketer for his choice of number on the jersey and also for supporting his team.
He also said of sending a gift to the Indian cricket team’s Test captain.
Keeping his promise, Kroos gifted Kohli a jersey with a signature on it.
Kohli, on Monday, again took to the microblogging website to post a picture holding the gifted jersey and also wished Germany good luck for their quarterfinal clash. Moreover, he promised a return gift for Kroos.
Earlier, Germany played an outstanding game registering a 3-0 win against Slovakia in the Euro 2016 last-16 match on Sunday, thereby ensuring a berth in the quarterfinals of the tournament, where it will face Italy on July 3.
