Former pacer Shoaib Akhtar was no doubt one of Pakistan's greatest exports to the cricketing world with his raw pace but this time, unfortunately, he was at the receiving end of some brutal trolling by the Indian fans.
Known as the 'Rawalpindi Express' for his blistering fast deliveries, Akhtar took to Twitter to share a collage of himself with the caption,'Don of cricket as they called me but never enjoyed hurting people but I must say when I was out there I just ran in for the love of my country & for the people around the world'
Neither the caption nor the collage went down well with Akhtar as fans started to remind him of the times he was given a hammering by Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar in the 2003 ICC World Cup in South Africa. Take a look.
Tendulkar led India to victory against their arch-rivals with his 75-ball 98, to win the match by 6 wickets.
The former pacer had claimed for than 400 wickets in his International career, picking up 247 wickets in the 163 ODI matches he played. He also has two 10-wicket hauls in Test cricket as well.
